 Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) from Saint Joseph College of Leyte invites Dennis Hilario, GM of OBCI to   talk about web-based financial solutions and basics of accounting software methodology.  He discussed some real-world business transactions and how it impacts accounting business trends.  "Real-transactions, real-solutions, real-time is OBCI's slogan.  I want the students to feel and realize how they would apply the knowledge they learned from school and employ it on real-world scenarios".  Mr. Hilario said.

 

OBCI invests their time and efforts to train junior accountants become great businessmen in the future. 

OBCI Joins Makati Chamber of Commerce and Industry April 2010

Omega Business Consulting, Inc. is now officially a member of Makati Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI).  MCCI is a voluntary organization of Makati-based business enterprise.  Its primary objective is the sustainable growth of business, industry and community development.

Cebu-Based Advertising Firm to Resell OFS - Feb 2, 2010

 Asia Pacific Ads Unlimited (APAU) and OBCI have partnered to deliver Omega Financial Suite (OFS Accounting Software and Inventory Software) for Cebu and VizMin market.  APAU as an advertising firm has a wide-array of products and services such as prints, giveaways, signage, events, package tours and yearbook.  They are set to sell OFS on top of the business consultancy services they provide.

"Cebu has been growing fast in terms of market demands and business providers  OFS will be a great tool for these businesses from startups to medium-sized enterprises particularly for businesses who wants to grow".  Jonas Kee Quilantang, General Manager for APAU said.  "We have dedicated a team to sell and support OFS for a better and quality service for our target customers."  he added.

A series of training sessions are conducted at the moment to equip APAU team for effective selling and implementation of OFS.  "We are training them to be marketing oriented when selling OFS meaning we focus on specific customer needs and then customize our approach for a successful and quality implementation."  Mr. Dennis Hilario of OBCI said.

Omega BCI Launched New Products for 2010

Omega BCI has strengthen its R&D last year thus they just launched their new products for 2010.  "Our transactions are becoming seamless and integrated because of Omega's products", one remittance client said.

"Our approach is one product per quarter.  From an idea, we quickly develop and test it in the market.  Consequently, we see immediate results and then enhance later", Mr. Dennis Hilario said, General Manager of OBCI in the Philippines. OBCI utilizes a combination of senior analyst, junior programmers and student interns in its R&D team.  Below are the products launched this year.

Remittance Portal

 The safest and quickest way of sending or receiving your money anywhere in the Philippines or in the world with any bank.

 Within a minute your transaction is auto-calculated, validated, duly approved and credited to your designated bank account ready for internet banking.  The application employs Secured Socket Layer (SSL) for security.

Omega Payroll

OBCI's latest version of payroll now converts any timekeeping data for auto processing of payroll up to generation of reports for SSS, Philhealth, HDMF in its individual prescribed format that is ready for online or manual remittance.

There will be no more hassle in monitoring:

1. benefits such as sick leave and vacation leave, long services leave, airfare, etc.

2. deductions such as educational, statutory or loans.

3. Overtime, bonus, commission and 13th month pay.

The system is capable of direct link to your staff's bank account.  It also caters for unlimited dept, companies, staff and cross section assignments.  All reports are integrated with Omega's General Ledger.

Offline Transaction Writer

An all module writer installed in a remote/branch PC where transaction processes, audit, approval and reporting can be done as a stand alone within the branch offline.  The "sought after module" of the writer is the consolidation process where the day's transactions are uploaded to the head office within seconds for auto-consolidation  and reporting.

Others In the Pipeline 

Other software products to be launched this year that are in the pipeline are case manager for lawyers, online web 2.0 map directions/instructions and project management software.
